So I’m in a situation and need some advice. My graphic design job at the local paper got outsourced and I got laid off, but I already have some options.
I got an offer today from an employment office for a graphic designer for $14 an hour. Catch is it’s in the city and would require about a 1 hour/55mile commute at least to get to each day.
On the other hand, I already have a job lined up working as a salesman, graphic designer, and website manager for a family friend who lives in town and pays $12/hr. I’ve done work with him on the weekends for the past 2 years so I’m familiar with the store as well.
Financially I don’t have much to worry about other than my rent which is 375 for a decent apartment, plus internet and electricity. So...would the 1st job even be worth it really?
