I am not a highschool graduate and not in school currently.
I originally got a job to help around the house in a time of need. Following my parents advice I got a 2014 used car without a down payment in my father's name. I was paying it from July 2016 - February 2018 but it was taken away from me when I was kicked out. Good riddance honestly considering it costs $620 a month in total just for the payments and insurance. I do not want the car back but would like to know if there's anything I can do legally to get back the some $6,000 I paid when I had the car.
I have a steady job making $12/hr and currently staying with my best friend and I am not being charged rent. But that could change in the future. I make about $1400 a month not including overtime. My phone service was also in my father's name and my last phone still has $294 to be paid in order to free up my number. My phone will be disconnected in 4 days I think he said and he wants that amount.
I have health and life insurance through my job and I also have no credit.
I currently have $600 and get paid again in 2 weeks. What should I be doing in order to make the best of my situation? Moving back home is not an option given I was kicked out for religious reasons.
