I'm 23 years old. I moved from my pare ts after living with them and beibg provided by them all my life. Sonething clicked in my head about 5 months ago and I decided to leave. Had I stayed I'd have an office job in a massive hotel chain. But all that meant nothing as I myself didn't achieve it. It would be through my dads connections.
I got a job in a store where I currently make around 3.700-4.000 kuna (~$650) and I was struggling to make do with money as I started from scratch.
This month marks a massive success to me. I managed to pay my rent, electricity, water and so on, eat properly and even treat myself and my gf to more expensive foods, managed to buy gifts for 2 birthdays, managed to treat myself to some in-game content and to top it all off even treat my gf to a gift, all the while still have money left over.
I moved to a bigger appartment yesterday, so things are looking up for an idiot that left all behind to "make it" on his own.
