This has a bit of water damage causing bubbles/peeling in the counter area where the sink and stove is located. I touched up those areas with red paint but is there any way to repair this successfully?How?Let me know...It has a smooth finish and looks a bit glossy than painting regular wood. Some things that occurred to me is maybe sanding it and repainting but don’t know if it’ll look better after. Another idea is to put a Formica laminate of granite on the countertop to cover the imperfections. HD doesn’t carry it anymore. It would be 24” x 12” only.
