So I found out that I have to dig up a few feet of the foundation in my basement because tree roots penetrated the piping below my house, so I will be renting a jackhammer and digging that up. The good news is the I am pretty sure I know where the separation is thanks to the camera I sent down the pipe, so assuming that I have the location accurate could anyone advise how long this will likely take? This is my rough checklist: remove wall, pull back carpet, isolate space, break floor, dig, take out old pipe, put in new pipe, test, fill in hole, pour new cement, rebuild wall, plaster, paint, & put carpet back.My dad will be helping me with the job, he seems to think it will take 2-3 weekends (working all day Sat/Sun if necessary), but to me that seems like a lot.Any guidance is greatly appreciated!! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2hU58Vd
