Tldr; Car insurance renewal. 12 months for £830 or 10 months for £710. Both get me a full years no claims bonus.

I'm coming up to my first year of no claims bonus. My current insurance company has offered me £790 to stay with them with a black box (down from £1225 for my first year). The black box has caused me too many issues with thinking that I'm on slower roads than I actually am so I have no interest in keeping it.

After a bit of searching I have found another company offering £830 for a year without a black box, which I'm happy with, however they have also offered me a 10 months bonus accerator, which gives me another years no claim bonus (NCB) after 10 months instead of 12.

This early on in driving, NCB are incredibly valuable and reduce my insurance massively. Is getting the shorter insurance for a quicker NCB worth it?
