Hi reddit,
I am in the process of forming an LLC, but was wondering if I'll be able to write off the expenses that I have put into the company over the past few months. It's not an absurd amount of money, but there has been around $10k spent on prototype development, freelancing work, etc.
Will I be able to write off this $10k, given I have proof of payments, as it was business expenses (even if it occurred before the LLC was technically formed).
