The person on the phone explained that because I am an existing customer I do not qualify for the offer - i politely explained that that doesn't provide me with the good feels I was looking for and First Direct - the sister company- were offering me £125 to switch... i asked the lady to kindly put a note on my account saying that 14 years of loyalty did not qualify me to receive any payment and therefore I would be leaving. She put me on hold. Came back and paid me the £150. For 10 minutes of my time, asking a question, doing my research, staying polite - i got £150. You can get it too - make that call fellow existing customers - get whats yours!
