Hi, I’m new to the subreddit but I’m honestly just seeking for advice.

I live in Europe, and received a generous gift from a relative who lives in the US who recently came to see me. Said relative gave me this Walmart Visa loaded with $500, thinking that it would be nice to gift me with a prepaid card so I could buy cool stuff online and such, but he did not consider reading the back of the card sleeve, which states card can only be used for purchases in the 50 US states and Columbia, be it in person or online.

So, I’m now stuck with 500 bucks that I cannot use and having them would really be awesome since I’m a permanently broke student. Does anyone here know of any way I could turn this card into cash or any safe way to sell it since it’s a physical card and I live in Europe? I’d try with r/giftcardexchange but you need a special permission for high amounts and apparently I am not even considered an active user.

Thank you for any possible suggestion!

TL;DR: stuck with an american gift card that i can’t use and trying to do something with it
