I’m a twenty two year old female that lives alone in a rather high crime area. I love my flat and don’t want to move but in the last 3 weeks alone 5 of my neighbours cars have been stolen, my mail has been stolen, there are two homeless men living in my building and someone repeatedly is trying the back door of my home to see if it’s unlocked. I have a very small income and I don’t own the flat, so I can’t really make any structural/ big changes. But I’d like to not be scared all the time/ have some reassurance that no one is going to murder me in my sleep/ steal the few nice things I own!
