I was wondering if anyone had ideas on how to further reduce our dependence on electronic appliances. I've been cord cutting for a while now and I keep finding I have more and more electronic devices that use electricity to function. I have replaced my smartwatch with a basic battery powered watch and i have replaced my vacuum with a broom (have hardwood floors), but was curious to see if anyone had similar thoughts? Got rid of my spare macbook and also my spare watch, and also my air purifier (not sure if these things actually work anyways).
All the wires are so annoying. I replaced my S8's charging cable with a wireless charger, but the wireless charger still has a cord and an even larger footprint itself, so not sure if it was really worth it.
Current wired items I have -
- Laptop cables
- Wires for phone charger
- Wired mouse
- Wired space heater
- Wired headphone charger x2
- Router / modem wires and ethernet wires ( this is a big mess i can't hide)
- AC wire
- Wire for my air mattress
- Wire for my desk light
