I've been slowly curbing my impulse spending habit and trying to get in better shape for the last year. Both have been hard challenges separately, but today they collided in an unexpected way. I have been looking for a treadmill so I can walk and run in comfort during cold months (which in my part Canada is usually 4 months where I don't want to run outside). I found one on sale 72% off, with good reviews from different sources and warranty on parts etc.
With three people in the house to pitch in toward the purchase and a gift card to the store saved from Christmas, we'll be saving over the cost of a gym after only three months.
