tl;dr Looking for a BIFL belt with low/no profile that I can really tighten and won't loosen throughout the day.

WARDROBE SITUATION

I wear layers on chillier days. The inner layer is a tucked short sleeve T shirt. The outer layer is an untucked button down shirt where I leave the top couple buttons undone, showing the T shirt underneath. While I love my Orion Leather Belt (ty BIFL), the buckle bulges out from underneath the button down shirt. It's worth noting that I like to tighten my belt rather than have it loose.

LOOKING FOR

I'm therefore looking for a low / no profile belt to keep my T shirt tucked but not visible from underneath the outer shirt. I'm a guy but I don't mind if it's a women's belt as it won't be visible. Searching BIFL for low profile belts only came up with a post about a holster. Theoretically, the lowest profile would involve using elasticity rather than having the belt wrap around itself, but I'm not certain how long that belt would last.

My research initially led me to brands like Bison Designs (cinch), Arcade Belts (elastic and clip), grip6 (friction), blue alpha (velcro), and Patagonia (friction / web). I'm a little concerned that cinch / friction belts will loosen by the end of the day and not tighten as much as I'd like. I've also found that Duluth has a women's low profile belt, though it still has a buckle which might show through. Finally, there's a BUNCH of tactical belts for carrying that might fit low profile, but as I've very much uninitiated as far as tactical things go, I'm not sure if this is the right direction to go in.

Recommendations / advice on general direction appreciated. Thanks!
