I'm new to this sub, so I'm sorry if this has been talked about. I want to put my perspective on things. My grandfather had a very fulfilling life. He did everything he wanted to do. Went on trips to amazing locations, read books, gained knowledge, was present in every conversation with people, and most of all, he helped raise an amazing family. With all of the new technology, social media addiction, video games, Netflix, it can be hard for me to change myself. I envision myself becoming more in the moment, spending less time on my phone, working out more, reading more books, and experiencing real life more!
I have deleted Facebook, Twitter, and have started to work out more, but I want to continue to change. I feel that it is tough as a college kid where I want to be the opposite of everyone else.
Anybody have any advice, or words of wisdom?
I just want to enjoy life and feel fulfilled.
