Hello everyone. So I just got myself a second hand 8ft x 6ft wooden shed for my allotment. It's not in great condition but I'm relishing the challenge of fixing it up and getting it into a useable condition. Nothing too fancy, just so that it's sturdy and durable, I don't need it to look "good as new" or anything like that. I'll be keeping my gardening stuff in there and generally pottering about.Thing is, I know nothing about woodwork, carpentry, joinery, DIY in general. Never done anything like this before, and I want to do a good job, learn and have fun while doing it. So I'm looking for any advice you might have on how to get started and plan for getting this project going. Here's some pictures of what I have:http://ift.tt/2oxBaKb part you can see is the base/floor of the shed. Seems to me I need to remove the rotten wood and probably replace the parts it's all going to rest on. There's a fair bit of wood kicking around on my allotment that I can use, but to be honest I don't really know where to start. Any advice greatly appreciated.PS, I also just set up /r/shedditors for any shed enthusiasts out there, of which there seem to be more than I ever imagined. Join me! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2CHnPUJ
