I have a vacuum-insulated Stanley coffee thermos that I've had for 5+ years. It's dented up but works great. A few weeks ago, I was cleaning the cap, and I dropped the little rubber gasket thing that seals the mouthpiece into the drain. I emailed Stanley, offering to buy a replacement piece since I figured it was my fault-- to my surprise, they sent me an entire new cap for no charge, with no questions asked and no receipt. Not just the rubber gasket-- an entire cap (which is a spring-operated affair with multiple moving parts).
A lot of people complain about Stanley moving manufacturing to the East-- but at least they stand behind their product.
