After constantly having to throw out and replace my shoes every 18 months for wear and tear, I am seeking out a better way. Even worse is that I typically spend around $120 USD per pair of shoes

I have issues with overpronation, as well as different leg lengths, corrected with heel lifts and orthotics. Generally the heel on my shoes are the first to go, and as it starts to wear let's say by half a cm (that's about 1/6th of an inch), I would start getting pain throughout my back and have to throw the shoes away. I am aware on more formal shoes, you can use a cobbler to replace the heels (and I have bought a pair of Lemargo shoes recently to take this path). But what about sports shoes / sneakers? Is this a possibility?
