Not exactly a frugal question but I feel like you guys will be able to answer this.
So I need to get a lot of new clothes for work so my parents gave me a $300 prepaid VISA gift card for Christmas (it's the vanilla one, not sure if that matters?). Might be a stupid question but does it work like a regular credit card? i tend to buy clothes and then return like half of them after sitting on them for a week or 2, so I just want to make sure that I can get the refund back on the card and not just get store credit. Also, is it the same for online? If I buy things online and then return in store, will it go back on the card?
