We moved into a house that has hard water and there was a softener installed, but turned off and bypassed. I buy salt and turn it on, but need help setting the knobs for recharge cycles. There are 2 resin tanks attached to this head and I calculate those tanks to be around 20 gallons each. (40" tall and 36" diameter each). See this picture of the knobs. I understand the factors involved in setting the knobs are the number of people living in the home (2 adults), the grain size, the time of day, and the tank size. I don't know what grains are in these tanks and I didn't open the tanks to find out. Any advice for setting these knobs? Does anyone else get the feeling my capacity knob is missing a label? Thanks in advance! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2DVCrSG
