Our family’s TV bill with Comcast has gotten too high for my parents, so I’ve been tasked with downsizing our plan. We are currently getting about 220 channels and internet at 300 down for about $270 a month. We are gonna stay with Comcast for Internet, just cancel out TV plan and go elsewhere.
My brothers and I don’t watch TV besides Kimmel or some stuff on HBO, and my parents don’t watch as much as they used to, so we are fine with the 30-60 channel range.
So far I DirecTV GO and Youtube TV seem like the best options, but I wanted to see if you guys had an experience with the cheap TV platforms.
Thanks!
Edit: In case I didn’t make it clear, simply getting rid of the TV packages isn’t an option. My parents still watch TV every night and have shows they watch, even though we have Netflix and Hulu
