One way car rentals seem to cost an arm and a leg. My parents regularly have to rent a car to drive 4 hours from the nearest airport to come visit me. In the future when they retire sometimes they will stay for a few weeks or a month.
Right now they will rent a car, drive the 4 hours, park it on the street and leave it their for their trip then drive it back. This avg's around 700-1000 for a 1 week trip. There must be a way for them to rent a car for 4hrs, drop it off same day when they get to my house. And then not pay again till they are ready to leave. We have limited rental options in the area though, Enterprise and u-haul are about it. Any ideas or options?
