I have a standard American bathroom with a normal 32"x60" tub/shower/curtain combination.I have been planning to take out the tub and replace it with a walk in shower.I have questions about choices I should make.First: The stall is 32x60", with interior walls on either end, and the 60" length is an exterior wall. It is my understanding that only this wall needs a vapor barrier - is that correct? (I'm in midwest hot/cold state).Second: I would prefer to install a shower pan/tray for speed but wife insists on tiling the floor. But, for my own information, does anyone have recs for stylish nice looking shower trays other than the cheap looking/feeling kind you find at Lowes/Home Depot? Or, since I'm likely going to tile, is the Schluter Kerdi system the easiest to install successfully? (I'm very handy and careful, that's not a concern, I just want to do the entire thing in a weekend.) What about the Redi Trench Tile Redi thing? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2DvTNEL
