Or why my water bill is even so high to begin with? It's usually 165 or so per month. It's just me, my husband, and our four month old baby. We bought our first house last year in June and it's been consistently this high; I'm not sure if what's reasonable for our family size. I just feel so stressed out about it every month, paying this huge chunk of money when we have a mortgage and student loans and other bills to pay . . . We're in California, in case it makes a difference.
