Every ~3 months I require a new phone number where I can receive texts. I'll only use the number for a couple weeks max. I dont want to use an actual phone or a SIM, this is all VOIP or a service I can use on my computer.
So far I've been using Google Voice but I have depleted phone numbers to use and the service has become unreliable. Because of this I am seeking a new service.
So far I've found Skype but their minimum subscription is 3 months and this is far longer then I need and makes it more expensive.
Note: This has to be a unique phone number for me only and I must be able to receive texts. This is all I need.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Disclaimer: I know theres going to be a guy who will say this is sketchy or I am drug dealer or something and derail the thread. This is not for drug dealing or illegal activities.
