I've got a door leading into a basement store room. Rainwater runs down some steps and most of it goes off into the garden as planned. Some goes under the door, so I want to create a threshold by building a frame and filling it with, either ready-mixed concrete or just mortar.I expect it to be around 1" high, 2-3" deep and obviously the width of the door frame. It's going to sit on a solid, stable, piece of concrete. Is concrete going to have aggregate too big for such a small job or is mortar going to be a tough enough solution?I'm doing this in Spain by the way so I currently have no idea what materials are actually available locally. I live mostly in the UK where I know I can buy a ready-mixed tub of either material. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2yTsHnM
