The previous owners of my house drove at least 1/2 inch diameter anchors into the fireplace. I'm guessing these are either strike or wedge anchors as it's impossible to remove them. I'd like to mount a TV above the fireplace on a swivel mount but the mounts I've tried all have smaller plate holes then the anchor size.So my next thought is to buy a 3/4 inch plywood piece, then attach that to the anchors and use the plywood piece to mount the TV. However, given that there are only 3 anchors instead of the normal 4 corner mount that I usually do, I'm not sure if I'm going to crack the board and come home to a broken TV. I'd estimate the TV is between 50-65 lbs. Thoughts? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2BgpWyy
