Hello!I’m getting ready to put in floating shelves in a wall, the other side of which runs along stairs to the second floor.A full 2’x2’ area lights up my non contact voltage tester when I put it to the wall. There is a switch and outlet in the general area.What could cause this? Should I avoid drilling into the area all together? It’s near one of the few clear studs.
