Hi guys, I had Comcast internet (no TV) for a little over an year now. I was paying $49.99/mo for 100 Mbps down for last 12 mo and they charged me $64.99 in my latest bill since promotion expired. I called 1-800-XFINITY and told them I was going to cancel.
CSR: Why do you want cancel?
Me: My charges went up from $50 to $65 per mo.
CSR: What can we do to keep you? (He didn't transfer me to any retention expert)
Me: You can keep the price same hehe
CSR: (after a few mins on hold) Best I can do is 55 Mbps at $39.99/mo.
Me: I will take it.
I think I will survive on 55 Mb down since I don't play online games or anything.
