My bed sheets are ancient. They are hand-me-downs from my parents and I nor they have any idea what material or brand they are. They are the softest most breathable sheets I've ever felt and outside of a single 2 inch hole that has been there for well over a decade, they are stupidly durable. Unfortunately they are an ugly yellow after all these years. It looks pretty gross even though I know they are clean.
I've tried so many weird variations of sheets to find something similar, but none are anywhere near what these give. Soft+super thin+durable seems so rare. Maybe it's just because they have been washed thousands of times? I know some types of sheets are supposed to get better over time. In just don't know what to start with.
Any idea what sheet would work?
