Last year we had a heck of a time trying to keep our apartment warm. Our apartment is -very- drafty. We have two outer doors and 7 almost floor to ceiling windows, and they are all very poorly insulated. Last year I used fabric to stuff around the windows and doors, and it helped, but our electric bill was crazy high. I was going to make some little draft stoppers for the windows and doors this year. But I was wondering if it would be more efficient for us to keep the apartment on a lower setting and just use space heaters in the rooms where we spend most of our time.

Does that seem like it would save any money? Or would I be better off skipping the heaters?
