I love home decor and design, which can be an expensive hobby. I came here to say that some of my best and most treasured pieces have been the ones I came across at thrift stores and/or Craigslist. There's character and a story behind them. My outdoor table I got off the curb and it's amazing! Makes my patio look like a French bistro every time I eat out there. (Bonus: having a nice table out back helps keep me from going out to eat because I can enjoy nice meals at home.)
Being frugal doesn't always mean compromising. Sometimes it can help you find things that you truly love and need.
