My post from before with all the info.
First things first. My car has a salvaged title. However, I had went and gotten appraisals from dealerships with them KNOWING THIS and got offers of an average $3K (which would be trade in right?).
This is stated when searching for the VIN for crying out loud. I had also sent in a copy of my title for them to make sure I had the right VIN (error on their behalf). Fast forward to the last week or two, the woman who has been assigned my case seems to just be disregarded everything I'm saying and showing to prove my car was worth more than what they are offering. Tells me to send her a copy of my title again.
I comply.
Get an email today stating that now their offer is $840 because of the title?! Can they do that?
Weeks ago I tried calling attorneys but had no success in finding one that would take a case of there was no injuries involved.
My car was in the process of being sold, had only 86k miles, minor previous damage, and ran fine! I had gotten new tires and a new battery but none of this seemed to matter. I'm so stressed and can't believe this situation just got worse.
If it's my fault, it's my fault. But I just need serious answers on what to do at this point.
