My parents had helped me open a savings account at Bank of the West when I was 10 years old to which I would deposit money into every chance that I got. Eventually when I started working while I was still living with my parents, I was able to put a good amount of my paycheck into my savings. Bank of the West was solely for savings
Shortly after opening an account at Bank of the West, I opened a Wells Fargo account where I would use this account for any purchases.
When I was about 21, I stopped putting money into Bank of the West and only into Wells Fargo. Fast forward, two years later to when I just(30 minutes ago) Went to Bank of the West they told me that my account couldn't be found because my account was inactive so the bank closed my account. They told me search online for unclaimed claims, but nada....
Am I totally F%&*ed?
