Good morning everyone. I apologize if this isn't the right thread to ask for bike shopping advice. However, since I know that a lot of my frugal community commutes to work via bicycle, I've decided to invest on a commuter bike. I only live 0.8mi away from work, I work 3x per week, but currently pay $40 per month on parking, thats $480 a year!! Anyway, the only bike I've ever owned was the one given to me when I was 10yrs old. Does anyone know where I can look for a used bike? What to look for when purchasing a bike? What is the best brand for a commuter bike? I'm 5'0 and I'm looking for something comfortable, but durable! Any advice is greatly appreciated!
