I have invested a few shares in amazon, but not big. Lately, I have been contemplating putting 25K-30K$ in that single stock.
Amazon seems like the walmart of 60s/70s - everything they touch, the competitors are terrified. They are expanding internationally, and not to mention that their push into services - home repair services, local delivery and now, the talks about upending ticketmaster. And, unlike Google - Amazon focus on execution at least guarantees that they are a serious competition.
Before I commit enough money, what would be good reasons for not to risk a large amount on it?
