Hi all,
I'm here for some advice as to how to get started with a stocks and shares portfolio but first a little background:
I am living and working in the UK, I'm in my early 20's, I have enough extra income to contribute £200-400 a month without putting myself at risk/hurting my savings. I would not call myself risk averse and I am aware that investment carries risk etc. etc. and I am not looking for sky high returns - I am looking to build a portfolio that will grow at a healthy rate. Again, I am aware of the risk and I am very new to this and I would appreciate some advice on a starting point of where to start investing, how best to balance diversification and any advice that well seasoned investors may have.
I understand that some of you may wish to scrutinise my positions and will just suggest savings etc but I am not looking to make any big life purchases in the next 5 years and this is really something I would like to get involved in.
Thank you all in advance!
