I am trying to make a homemade water pipe for tobacco as cigarettes just aren't doing it for me anymore. I don't want to use plastic nor metal, but what are some good heat resistant materials that I can use? I was thinking of using balsa wood as that is the only wood I have around, but I don't think I can make it air/water tight. In addition, what kind of things can I use instead of/to flavor the water in the tobacco water pipe? I am a big fan of fruit flavors, probably because I am a big fruit.
