Greetings y'all! I am moving from cali to Illinois next week (driving) and am clueless regarding the laws pertaining to my car plate number/liscense as well as my car insurance. How long can I go to "avoid" registration fee and keep my california liscense plate before I get in trouble? Further, am I allowed to keep my california liscense or change it to illinois liscense? Any answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
