Hi all,

Lending Club has a pretty shitty system where online it says payment "processing on time" for days. I find out only weeks later on calling them that while it was saying that online, payment was not processed because my bank asked for the payment back because there's a stop for LC on my account.

My bank has always maintained there is no LC stop on my account.

In one case LC took the money anyways! But claims there was no payment made despite it being on my statement.

When I sent them the statement, they claimed it was for a previous payment.

In other instances the money was NOT taken from my account, even as I trusted it was because of the "processing on time".

So I've changed the bank account they take money from, but the same thing is happening: nothing is showing up as taken from my bank account, LC shows "processing on time".

Complaining to Lending Club is useless. I've complained to my state business authority. What else can you suggest I do? Is it worth asking crediting agencies to remove the bad marks on my credit reports? I have made every effort possible to make payment on time. I also have recordings of all phone calls where LC confirms yes it's processing on time, then the calls where they say no we never received payment, and when the bank tells me there's no block from LC taking money from my account.

Also! I'm applying for an apartment in NYC. To you NYCers, will it help me if I include copies of my letters to credit agenies disputing the bad marks? I'm afraid of getting rejected for apts because of this.
