Hi. I have a hot tub that has been popping the GFCI breaker recently. I've been trying to narrow down the problem so I can determine if its something I can attempt to fix. Here's what my troubleshooting has come up with so far... My hot tub has 2 motors. Motor 1 runs low and high and also heats the spa. Motor 2 runs at one speed only. I can run motor 2 by itself and it runs fine. I can run motor 1 by itself on low, and it runs fine. I can run motor 1 on low and motor 2 at the same time, and it runs fine. The tub heats fine. So I've narrowed it down to Motor one on High being the problem. But here is the curious part - It'll run for a good 8-10 minutes before tripping the breaker. But once the breaker is tripped, it takes a few hours before I can reset the breaker. Do I replace the breaker? The motor? something else? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2wTeruC
