I'm really interested in the idea of owning my lifestyle. If I could, I would spend a lot of money just to feel like some costs are permanently taken care of. I know I could always buy an annuity and use those payments to cover recurring costs like food or gas or clothes. But that's not fun or creative and is outside the spirit of this discussion.
I guess what I'm asking is, if you had some bizarre brusters millions type scenario where you had to get rid of a bunch of money and not hold it as cash to spend later, how could you use it to guarantee a cost-free lifestyle for years to come?
