Hello all!
Has any gone this route and can anyone offer any smartwatch recommendations? I think a smartwatch would cut down on opportunities to whip out the distraction device, aka my smartphone both at home and in the office. The phone is a powerful device and I don't want to eliminate it, just cut back on usage.
I think this falls under the umbrella of simpleliving, but let me know if I'm mistaken...
At work, I have a lot of office meetings and live my life by my Outlook calendar. I want to just carry a non-phone device and a paper notebook, and be alerted of where my next meeting is and when.
I am looking at the Asus ZenWatch 3, because I have an android but I'd like to go simpler too if possible.
edit: some clarifications... I know that buying another thing is, by the letter of the law, antithetical to the "less stuff" part of simpleliving, but I think this could be a way to gain more "freedom" from the phone. Also, I'm not totally convinced this is even the way to go. So if someone out there has tried this, or thought about it too, I would love to hear about your experience.
