Someone suggest a PVR that's easy to use, has a hdd and dual tuner and it actually works and doesn't kill itself exactly a few weeks after the warrenty expires. LG PIECE OF SHNIZ.
It's for my tech challenged mum to record shows and stuff with. Don't bother suggesting alternative methods or anything internet related. She won't have that. I've tried getting her to do things. She absolutely refuses. She's old as shit and I love her heaps.
We just bought a 39 dollar laser shit stain dick fart to record onto usb and there's a load of hoops to jump through to record select programs on the EPG and the user interface is sloppy as duckshit.
Please help me reddit. I fucked up with the last $250 piece of fuck LG whatsit and mum has lost a lot of faith in my decision making which I don't blame her. she deserves a working show recording gizmo device gadget mcbob that ACTUALLY WORKS and goddammit I'll get it for her. I've tried comparing models and half the reviews suck it's dick and offer praises and the other half complain of it breaking down and showing glitches early and I can't be fucked sifting through it all.
It's a simple concept. Have an epg TV guide thing. Scroll down to select a show (or a few shows throughout the week) and hit a button to record it when it comes on. Mum can watch later. Skip ads. She's happy. Seriously, she's a simple lady leading an uncluttered life and she deserves her joy of recording something to eat later. Please help me help my mum.
