My 12 y/o Kenmore Elite dishwasher has finally seen it's last day. I am currently looking to get a new, updated Dishwasher. After much research I have settled on just the brand based on reliability, reviews, etc.. I have included some comments next to each brand with my remarks.
If anyone can recommend a specific model and your experience I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you can provide your opinion on my remarks in regards to the brand and the model you are recommending

Budget: $700 - $900 range. Willing to work with rebates/cash-back deals too.

Miele - Top Rated, Expensive; worried about space, dryness of dishes, cleaning filter (since European no food disposal) and service if needed

Bosch - Top Rated, good price range; again similar to Miele read reviews of really wet dishes, small capacity for american dishware, and bad odor issues

Kitchen-Aid - Seems to be the middle of the road, overall good reviews; however hardware reliability and efficiently seem to be a concern

Kenmore Elite - Same as Kitchen-Aid (middle of road, overall good, hear sears customer service is a nightmare and reliability issues).
The more I review and read the more conflicting information I receive, the more fake (promo) reviews I am seeing. All of the brands seem to offer about the same thing, it seems that the bells and whistles are the major difference between the brands. Noise seems to rest in the 44 - 46 range for most.
