Disclaimer: I'm a fool who moved too quickly before I knew what I was doing.I used premixed thinset on my custom, preformed shower base and laid the floor tile. I realize this was wrong on so many levels. I should have started with the wall tile and I should have used an unmixed thinset. The tile was laid roughly 1 week ago and the thinset has dried.First problem: I need to remove the tile without damaging the shower base. I don't care about reusing the old tile. Do I do this carefully with a chisel/pry bar? Is there a better way?Second problem: How do I remove the dried premixed thinset from the shower base? This is the bigger issue.View of the shower floor: http://ift.tt/2uIh4Br view of the tile: http://ift.tt/2vT3tFH shower base is from KBRS. The premixed thinset I used is Acrylpro (from Home Depot).I am located in the Midwest. Any help is appreciated. Feel free to ask any questions. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vgTfC2
