So I joined a yoga studio, the girl told me it would be 89.99/mo if I signed up during my intro period. I never asked nor did she tell me it was 3 month min. I signed up over the phone, never signing a contract, never being informed. I paid one month then got free yoga elsewhere so I emailed them to cancel and was shocked to hear I was in a 3 month commitment. The owner replied that there were signs in the front with the terms & options BUT I did this over the phone. No other options were ever presented to me. She offered to charge me $140 for the month the month plan for July then break my membership but I told her no & if she charged my card I'd dispute it. This is not legal, is it? I don't know all the laws... but I was not informed, didn't read anything and never signed a damn thing.
