Some backstory to how the hotel has our information is that we went there to stay for one night. We checked in, saw the room wasn't ready, told the front desk, they said they would reimburse the card and gave us a written paper that they owed us reimbursement for the night. About a month later we noticed charges to our debit card from the hotel of over $3000 and after contacting the hotel and their general manager we cancelled our debit card to prevent any further charges and they later said they would charge back everything to our new debit. It seemed like everything was going to be back to normal until we got a call saying they made the first chargeback to our card and we received nothing, when I asked what card it was they said it was our old one because they can't reverse a charge on our new card even though they said it was fine and they could. So where do I go from here? Do I go the same way I have been or what? It's a holiday inn hotel so I expected much more than this. Sorry for the terrible writing, this has got me really stressed so I can't put my words together as well.
