Just moved into a bloody expensive place and the bathroom floor looks like this. I'm going to try and persuade the LL to fix this so I am trying to get together a list of materials that will be needed to price it out. I'd rather just do it myself than have her useless property manager do it and take three weeks.Do I have to use that wonderful stuff Schluter Ditra membrane under any new (cheap) tiles or is there a cheaper alternative?This floor as far as I can see is wood, a microscopic layer of cementy stuff, black plastic and then laminate.
