I'm realizing that a lot of people outside of Los Angeles don't know this so I thought I'd share it here. If you live in a city, sign up on sites like gofobo.com (I'm blanking on others we used to use, if anyone knows them please let me know!) and you can see advanced movie screenings. I used to work for a movie studio and we would always host about 100 free screenings of our movies to generate buzz. A lot of the time they even provide free popcorn and soda. The movies are sometimes blockbusters and sometimes Indy flicks, but I always think they're at least good enough to see on an empty night for free.
