I believe the majority of adults get paid biweekly, I am one of them.
The way I break my pay out is I figure out my budget, how much for what and where. I use one bank account for my reoccurring bills and put everything on auto-pay to pull from there. I also have auto-transfer into savings every two weeks on pay day. I am currently working on paying off my credit card so a predetermined portion of that gets pulled out and paid onto the CC. Whatever is left in my personal checking is mostly spending money and some bills that can't be auto-paid.
I do this every two weeks and while I still have a bit of trouble curtailing my personal spending habits, for the most part it works for me.
How do you work out your budget in the best way for you? Do you take out spending money for the month or do you do it bi-weekly? Do you try and have all your bills hit around the same time or do you try and break them up throughout the month? Do you find biweekly vs monthly helps you spend more or less?
